Denton County IH35 at FM 1171 (Main St)
LEWISVILLE, TEXAS
Wylie Drilling is currently working for SEMA Construction, INC. on the new TxDOT Denton County IH35 and Main St project in Lewisville, TX.
Plans to rebuild the Main Street overpass and expand the north and south bound IH35 Frontage Roads are well underway. The project includes the installation of 719 drill shafts, each 48 inches in diameter, designed with tie back anchors. Tie Back anchors help stabilize structures by transferring the load from the retaining wall to a more stable rock layer further back from the wall, guaranteeing long term stability of the finished structure. The remaining 29 drill shafts, each 42” in diameter, are to support the bents for the new overpass.
